I've done the 14 peaks every year for the past 4 years, and intend to continue it as an annual event as long as I can (being 29 now I hope this will be many more).

This year was the first time I'd done it on my own - which was good as I was able to do it at my own pace.

The 11th August was as perfect a day as could be, slightly hazy, warm but breezy. As usual I started from the PYG car park in Pen y Pass, then ascended Crib Goch, Crib y Ddisgyl and Snowdon before descending in to Nant Peris and on.

Elidir Fawr nearly finished me off which was not expected as the previous time Id managed it in 50 minutes.
A mountain not to be underestimated.

I passed a lot of friendly people on the way which is always good morale boost, as indeed are flapjacks and sipping an energy powder drink from a camelback. Just under 5 litres of drink was needed on such a warm day, thankfully I had left myself some supplies in Nant Peris and lake Ogwen so I didnt have to carry it all.

I reached the final peak in exactly 10 hours which I was very chuffed about, with the previous group efforts not being better than 15 hours.

Anyway, I may meet some of you along the tops next year.......
