The Database

An entry may be made in the database if you have visited all fourteen peaks in a single journey. Many will opt to do the full traverse in a day without a significant stop but we are happy to accept claims for over 24 hrs providing that it is indeed a single journey - possibly using a tent or a stopover at a location such as the Ogwen YHA. The time is from the first peak to the last peak.

We are trying to assemble the fullest possible historic record of the 14 peaks journey. We are seeking the assistance of the public in adding to our research. You may enter a claim on your own behalf or certify a traverse known to you - such as a journey undertaken by a family member or friend. There is also an option to enter a group traverse. We know that many people will have fond or vivid memories of journeys over the "Welsh 3's" that took place many years ago. You are very welcome to enter the details in our public database. We examine all claims and will approve as soon as time allows - usually within 14 days. Please DON'T resubmit a claim. 

If you would like to publish a report of your traverse (or attempted traverse) please email your account to catherine@snowdonia-active.com, with an image if you have one. 

Once you have entered your details on the 14 Peaks database, why not celebrate your achievement by claiming a completion certificate.

Before submitting a claim to the database please make sure that you have all details to hand. You have the option of uploading an image - but please use small size jpg files only. Other file types will not display. You can view images (where uploaded) by clicking on the name field.
